Tragic Transplant Team Loss at University of Michigan

On June 4th, 4 members of the University of Michigan Transplant Team were killed in an airplane accident, while retreiving organs as a part of the Survival Flights program. Two air crew were also lost in the accident. Editor-in-Chief Philip Halloran, on behalf of the AJT staff and editorial board, wishes to extend deepest condolences to the families and colleagues of those lost, and to express gratitude to all of the medical personnel who place themselves in the line of danger to serve these vital, life-saving programs.
